Cavs News: Wins Helping Kevin Love Cope With Health, On-Court Struggles

The Cleveland Cavs are a hot streak of epic proportions right now, and that's been of major help to Kevin Love's psyche as he continues to struggle with lingering back issues along with his role in coach David Blatt's rotation.

"It's something I want to get right before we get to the playoffs, because that's what's most important at this point," Love told ESPN.com prior to Saturday's practice in preparation for Sunday's game against the Magic. "It's not something that's -- I'm going to have to address my body. But I address my body every offseason. I'll go from my toe all the way up to my head to try to figure out how to better my body for next season. It's not something that's going to bother me down the road."

February and March have been Love's least productive months of the 2014-15 season. Regardless of the team's success with mix-and-match lineups as of late, Love is doing his very best to make sure he's in the best position to give the team what it needs down the stretch.

"It's still a work in progress, but I think I've figured it out a little better," said Love, who is keeping advice from his old coach in Minnesota, Kevin McHale, in the front of his mind. "It's like McHale used to tell me: Just go where they ain't. Just go out there and try to space the floor as best as I can."
