Cavs News: Mike Miller Will Start Against Nets

Cleveland's Mike Miller will be activated for Friday night's game against the Brooklyn Nets and will be inserted into the starting lineup for Shawn Marion, who will now be coming off the bench, according to Northeast Ohio Media Group.

Miller has missed the last seven games with a concussion he suffered against the New York Knicks on December 4, and passed all five phases of the NBA's concussion recovery protocol. He was cleared to play before Wednesday's 127-98 loss to the Atlanta Hawks, but was held out as a precaution because of stiffness in his neck.

"I just do whatever it takes to win," Marion said following Cleveland's morning shootaround. "Whatever coach needs me to do, I'll do it."

In 13 games, Miller is averaging 1.5 points, 2.1 rebounds and is shooting 25 percent from three-point range this season. Marion is averaging 5.4 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 24 appearances.
