Cavs News: LeBron James Out For Two Weeks With Knee, Back Strains

This week, Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James underwent an MRI in hopes of finding out exactly what's been wearing him down lately, and the results weren't ideal - especially with his team dropping four of their last five games. The exam revealed two strains - one to his ailing left knee, which kept him out of Wednesday's loss to Milwaukee, and another to his back. LeBron is tentatively expected to miss two weeks as he lets himself heal, with Cleveland's January 15th game against the Los Angeles Lakers looking like his most likely return date.

LeBron is averaging 25.2 points, 5.3 rebounds and 7.6 assists per game this season, but he's been playing 37.5 minutes per game on the year. James, who celebrated his 30th birthday on Tuesday, has only missed more than six games in a season twice in his 12-year NBA career. To make matters worse for Cleveland, both PF Kevin Love (back) and SF Shawn Marion (ankle) are dealing with minor injuries of their own. Both are questionable for Friday's game against the Charlotte Hornets.
