Cavs News: Cleveland Interested In Signing Nate Robinson

The Cleveland Cavaliers have expressed interest in signing free agent point guard Nate Robinson, according to Yahoo's Marc J. Spears.

Cleveland has been extremely disappointing so far this season, and have made several moves to improve their depth. They traded for J.R. Smith and Iman Shumpert from the New York Knicks, and also got Timofey Mozgov from Denver.

Robinson would compete for the backup point guard spot with Matthew Dellavedova.

Robinson started his season with the Denver Nuggets, but was traded to the Boston Celtics earlier this week. The Celtics then bought out his contract, making him a free agent. He's averaging 5.8 points and 2.3 assists in 14.1 minutes a game so far this season.
