As a junior in college, William Green was the number one running back prospect in the upcoming NFL draft. After a stellar rookie campaign, Browns’ first-round draft pick William Green was voted team MVP and was a candidate for the league Rookie-of-the-Year honor eventually awarded to defensive end Julius Peppers.
And then, his career imploded. His life imploded. The desire in his heart imploded.
