CLEVELAND – No matter what Cleveland Browns fans were hoping to see from their team in the third preseason game, starters getting injured was not one of them. In that regard, tonight’s meeting with the Philadelphia Eagles has not gone to plan.
Starting quarterback Tyrod Taylor left tonight’s game a little over midway through the first quarter after taking an awkward spill and injuring his wrist. Taylor sustained the injury on a fourth-and-goal pass attempt with about six minutes to go in the quarter. The dual-threat QB escaped some pressure and rolled to his left looking for a receiver.
