CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Browns promoted Sashi Brown to executive VP of football operations on Jan. 3, 2016. He was fired on Thursday.
The move brings an end to Brown’s tenure after 28 games, two drafts and two runs through free agency. While it might seem like a short period of time, it was filled with tons of roster moves that helped shape what the team is today, as well as what it might be in the future.
Brown was at the helm for 24 draft picks and about a dozen trades, numerous more moves involving waived, released and claimed players.
