Cleveland Browns general manager John Dorsey announced on Thursday that the team is “open for business” when it comes to trading the No. 1 overall selection in the 2018 NFL Draft.
That statement is quite possibly a smokescreen or just a way for Dorsey to have a laugh while watching everyone scramble to decipher any hidden meanings in his statement.
It could also be a challenge to the league’s other general managers that, if they want to make an offer that would greatly benefit the Browns, then Dorsey would be willing to listen.
Well, according to Chad Forbes at NFL Draft Bites, Denver Broncos general manager John Elway may have said “challenge accepted” as the Browns and Broncos are reportedly talking about the possibility of the Browns sending the top pick west to the Broncos.
