Both the Cleveland Browns and Alabama Crimson Tide have had some coaching changes going on recently. In Cleveland, Freddie Kitchens took over the head coaching job and has followed that with a flurry of hirings as he rounds out his staff.
For the Tide, it’s been assistants being changed out. Head coach Nick Saban has had five assistants leave the program following their loss to Clemson and the latest to leave is defensive coordinator Tos Lupoi, who joins Cleveland as a defensive line coach.
Tupoi is a well-respected coach who spent two seasons as a defensive analyst for Alabama before taking over the role of linebackers coach in 2016 and 2017.
