North Royalton and Brecksville met Tonight for the Battle of the Shoe. The game started off with both teams defense holding it down. It wasn't until late in the first quarter when North Royalton QB Joe Marousek connected with #81 Adam Barret to take the lead 6-0.
Going into the second, the Brecksville Bees started moving the chains. They were able to find the end zone thanks to QB Joe Labas and tied the game at 6-6.
The game was tied until less than a minute left in the half when Marousek kept the ball and scored on the quarterback keeper.
