Carlos Hyde was a running back for the San Francisco 49ers in 2017. On the season, Hyde collected a respectable 938 yards and eight touchdowns. Additionally, he caught 59 passes for a total of 350 yards (about 5.9 yards per catch).
Although he did all this work in San Francisco, Hyde signed with his home state Cleveland Browns in free agency this year. The former Ohio State Buckeye product and graduate of Cincinnati’s Naples High School, Hyde decided to come closer to home for his second contract.
When the NFL Top 100 list started on Monday night, Hyde knew he had a chance to be on the player-voted.
