The NFC Championship features the Minnesota Vikings taking on the Philadelphia Eagles. Both of last week’s finishes in the NFC were incredible, with the Eagles holding on in their game and the Vikings rallying in their game. I mean, this game could very easily have featured the Atlanta Falcons vs. New Orleans Saints.
Philadelphia showed how valuable their defense was last week, picking up the team despite being saddled with Nick Foles at quarterback. But Minnesota was playing a shutdown first half against the Saints before the game got crazy in the second half. I think they’ve overcome the emotional hurdle of being down and can set their sights on playing a home Super Bowl.
