Morning Kickoff: Where the Browns' coaching search stands

The dipsy doodle: When the Cincinnati Bengals toyed with the Browns in a series-record 37-3 win in Cleveland on Dec. 6, Bengals offensive coordinator Hue Jackson appeared to be auditioning for the job of Browns head coach by showcasing genuine offensive creativity.

He deployed surprise formations that baffled the over-matched Browns defense. On that day, the Bengals did pretty much what they wanted on offense and the feeling was that Jackson had much more up his sleeve that was unused.
