BEREA, Ohio -- John Dorsey's first move as GM was to release Kenny Britt and put an end to one of Sashi Brown's biggest mistakes.

The move was first reported by ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Britt, 29, was signed to a four-year deal worth $32.5 million, including $10.5 million guaranteed.

A bad fit from the start, Britt started only four games and caught 18 passes for 233 yards and two TDs.

Britt made headlines more for his off-the-field actions than on.

He was sent home early from Houston along with Corey Coleman for missing curfew the night before.
