CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Receiver Josh Gordon has been conditionally reinstated by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. It means Gordon rejoins the Browns for what feels like the 459th time.
The news is all good, because Gordon needs the Browns and the Browns need Gordon.
Given everything that has happened with Gordon, it is easy to forget that he is just 26 years old. But he is just 26, with a relatively small amount of NFL wear and tear because of all the substance-related suspended games since his rookie season of 2012. Gordon can be good again -- great again -- for years and years as long as he stays (squeaky) clean.
