INDIANAPOLIS — Josh Allen spent his Saturday morning showing off.
Allen, the big-armed quarterback from Wyoming, shined during on-field workouts at Lucas Oil Stadium, so much so at least one of his throws drew an audible gasp from those in attendance.
Although that development might not come as a surprise — Allen’s draft stock is largely based on uncanny arm talent — it’ll only help Allen’s polarizing case as the top signal caller at the league’s annual scouting combine.
Allen (6-foot-5, 220-pounds) is among several quarterbacks the Browns could select with the first-overall pick this spring.
