Johnny Manziel's running sparks Browns, but Chiefs hang on to victory

Johnny Manziel picked up the pace in the second half with his feet and made Sunday's Cleveland Browns 17-13 loss to Kansas City interesting.

But though Manziel's running gave the Browns a chance for their fourth win of the season, his passing did not come through when he needed it.

Manziel ran for 108 yards on 11 scampers, as the Chiefs could not contain him once he started to move from the pocket. These weren't out-of-control runs either. Manziel ran when he realized he had nothing down the field, or when he he had pressure.

That, combined with better play from the defense, turned a 17-3 halftime deficit into a 17-13 game late in the fourth quarter.
