BEREA, Ohio -- Cleveland Browns offensive tackle Joe Thomas was overwhelmed by the texts and tweets he received after playing in his 10,000th consecutive snap Sunday in Baltimore.
One greeting really hit him, though, and it came from another Cleveland sports icon.
“The coolest one was probably LeBron James,” Thomas said Thursday. “Obviously, he’s not a guy that tweets all that often, and he’s got a few more followers than me. When he spent some time to go out of his way and tweet me, I thought that was pretty neat.
