Joe Schobert selected as AFC Defensive Player of the Week

Cleveland Browns linebacker Joe Schobert was named on Wednesday as the AFC Defensive Player of the Week.

Schobert was honored for his play against the Miami Dolphins where he had five tackles, defended four passes and a pair of interceptions. It was the second consecutive game where Schobert had two interceptions, making him just the sixth linebacker in league history to have multiple interceptions in consecutive games and the first to do it since Cato June in 2005, according to clevelandbrowns.
