Cleveland Browns linebacker Jamie Collins will be out for the rest of the 2017 season with an injured MCL in his right knee, the team announced Monday.
Browns coach Hue Jackson did not specify the degree of Collins' injury and only said there was "damage." Collins will not need surgery, Jackson said.
Collins was injured Sunday when he was tackled by Detroit Lions offensive lineman Graham Glasgow after making an interception. Glasgow grabbed Collins around the shoulders and twisted him to the ground. Collins' knee was caught under Glasgow's body.
