BEREA, Ohio -- This isn't the first time that James Burgess has been called upon to replace Jamie Collins. This time, however, Collins will be out the remainder of the season. It's a bittersweet opportunity for the linebacker out of Louisville who bounced around practice squads last season before landing in Cleveland.
"It definitely gives me an opportunity to showcase my talents," Burgess said. "I never wish an injury on any player, and hopefully, (Collins) can get back as fast as possible."
The Browns placed Collins on injured reserve on Tuesday after an MCL injury knocked him out of the loss in Detroit following an interception.
