BEREA, Ohio -- Browns rookie safety Jabrill Peppers had a different perspective on his hit against Bengals wide receiver Josh Malone when he addressed it today. It probably has something to do with it taking a hefty chunk out of his paycheck.
Peppers revealed on Thursday that he had been fined for the hit, a number that would come out to approximately $24,000.
"I don't know what they want us to do, especially in terms of football's a violent game," Peppers said. "I don't know why they're trying to take the violence out of it. I think they're trying to make it too friendly.
