Hue Jackson says DeShone Kizer played mostly 'lights out' against Bengals, not worried about confidence

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- DeShone Kizer didn't have the numbers to prove it, but coach Hue Jackson believes he had arguably his best game of the season in Sunday's 31-7 loss to the Bengals.

"He played as well as he's played all year,'' said Jackson. "With the exception of missing a couple of re-IDs and protection, he played lights out. He didn't take sacks. He threw the ball away. He didn't have turnovers. So that's improvement. I want everybody to know regardless of what the numbers are for him, the guy played extremely well.''

Kizer completed 16-of-34 attempts for 118 yards with no touchdowns and one interception for a 43.
