After a winless 2017, Jackson has started re-doing his offensive staff. He interviewed Houston Texans quarterbacks coach Sean Ryan on Wednesday to be the team's offensive coordinator. No hire has been made, but Ryan remains an option as the search and process continue.

Special teams coach Chis Tabor left for the same job with the Bears, and with Tabor's departure Jackson also released Sean Mennenga and Stan Watson, two other special teams coaches. Jackson moved Al Saunders from receivers coach to senior assistant/special projects. In addition, running backs and running game coordinator Kirby Wilson and quarterbacks coach David Lee were let go.
