CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Quarterback DeShone Kizer went 8-of-17 for 87 yards and one interception in the Cleveland Browns' 17-14 loss to the New York Jets on Sunday afternoon at FirstEnergy Stadium. Kevin Hogan replaced Kizer to begin the second half and was 16-of-19 for 194 yards, two touchdowns and one interception.
Kizer was sacked once and rushed six times for 29 yards. Hogan was not sacked and rushed four times for 30 yards.
What a mess: The Browns not only lost to fall to 0-5 -- 1-20 since the beginning of last season -- coach Hue Jackson benched his quarterback of the future.
