CLEVELAND, Ohio -- DeShone Kizer was as down he's been after a game all season following his four turnovers in Sunday's 19-7 loss to the Jaguars.

"It hurts,'' he said. "I'm trying to do whatever I can to string together some games and continue to prove my development to my teammates and to continue to earn the respect of them. This is the first game that I've come off of the field feeling as if I didn't prove that I developed in at least one area.''

Kizer, playing with badly bruised ribs, took little solace in the fact that Jackson committed to him for the final six games of the season, beginning next week in Cincinnati, so he can evaluate him "from top to bottom.
