Much like the rest of his rookie season, DeShone Kizer’s Week 17 performance has been pretty uneven. After leading the Cleveland Browns to minus-18 yards on their first three series, Kizer connected on two 50-plus-yard passes on consecutive drives to keep the Browns alive in their quest to avoid an embarrassing zero win season.
Here’s Kizer connecting on a 54-yarder to Josh Gordon, originally called a touchdown but easily overturned, which set up a Duke Johnson touchdown run two plays later.
The 54-yard pass to Gordon was Kizer’s longest completion of the season, prior to this 56-yard catch-and-run touchdown by Rashard Higgins on the following drive.
