The Cleveland Browns have several starting roles that need to be filled this offseason, but one job that hasn't seen much attention that will need filled is backup quarterback job. With Drew Stanton set to be a free agent, the Browns only have two quarterbacks under contract for 2020.
There is no question that Baker Mayfield is the team's starting quarterback. However, Garrett Gilbert appears to be more of a developmental quarterback at this juncture, so Cleveland needs to find a reliable quarterback who can be a game manager when tasked with coming into the game.
