Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett may not have had the kind of rookie year he hoped for, but it was still good enough to earn a postseason honor.
Garrett, the No. 1 overall selection in the 2017 NFL Draft, was named to the Pro Football Writers of America All-Rookie Team on Tuesday.
Due to a high-ankle sprain he suffered in practice before the season opener Garrett missed the first four games of the season. He made an immediate impact in his debut in Week 5 against the New York Jets, sacking quarterback Josh McCown on his first play from scrimmage.
