It’s still a slow news cycle as teams are focused on the upcoming NFL Draft and the Cleveland Browns seem zeroed in as their busy offseason has slowed to a crawl. That doesn’t mean they aren’t still getting themselves some attention — even if it comes via some former players.
One of the biggest stories is former quarterback Johnny Manziel trying to blame the Browns for being a part of his failure. The former first-round pick said Cleveland should have seen he wasn’t worth a first-round pick, which is a weird way to try and endear yourself to teams as you hope for a comeback.
