Daily Dawg Tags: Cody Kessler happy Browns traded him

Cody Kessler started eight games in two seasons with the Cleveland Browns. But after playing in only three games in 2017 and the Browns overhauling their quarterback room this offseason, Kessler was traded to Jacksonville in March.

When Cleveland drafted DeShone Kizer in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft, the writing was on the wall that Kessler’s time in Cleveland was going to end sooner rather than later.

After John Dorsey was named Cleveland’s general manager, it appeared evident that Kessler was not going to be in Cleveland much longer. He was then traded to the Jaguars.
