When the Cleveland Browns announced that John Dorsey would be the team’s new general manager in December, it was expected that he would make sweeping changes in the front office. Especially with two vastly difference in thinking from the previous regime to how Dorsey operates.
The changes in the front office started in January when Dorsey hired Eliot Wolf as Assistant General Manager and Alonzo Highsmith as Vice President of Player Personnel.
Typically new general managers will wait until after the draft to make the mass amount of front office changes. That is to make sure none of the team’s draft plans leak out to other teams in te league.
