My earliest memories of the Cleveland Browns begin in 1999. I was six years old at the time, and remember the days of then-Browns QB Tim Couch being coached by Butch Davis.
I saw Bottlegate happen, as bottles rained down on the officiating crew as they ran off the field after a botched call. In my time as a Browns fan, I’ve seen 10 different head coaches and 30 starting quarterbacks.
I’ve seen a lot as Browns fans for the past 20 years, but one thing I haven’t seen much of is winning. The Browns have only been to the playoffs once since I became a fan, back during the 2002 season, where they lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers during Wild Card weekend.
