CLEVELAND, Ohio -- When Sashi Brown met with the media this week, the Cleveland Browns vice president admitted the Browns missed on quarterback Carson Wentz.
Brown didn't exactly use those words. He talked about "What can we learn from that (passing on Wentz in the 2016 NFL Draft) that can help our decisions moving forward?"
He praised the players they did draft, but admitted they needed to "solve the quarterback position."
I'd have preferred Brown to simply say, "We missed on Wentz. We have been looking at all the reasons why and we are determined not to have something like that happen again.
