The Cleveland Browns wanted to be more aggressive in adding players this offseason following an 0-16 campaign, which makes perfect sense. So far they seem to have adhered to that as they made some trades before the new league year officially began.
They added quarterback Tyrod Taylor, receiver Jarvis Landry and defensive back Damarious Randall. After those moves, they still have the second-most cap space in the league. That means Cleveland can afford to stay aggressive when free agency opens on March 14 at 4:00 pm EST.
What they don’t need to do however, is spend for the sake of spending.
