There was a point when Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku thought he was going to be playing football in his home state. The New Jersey native felt as though the New York Giants may have been targeting him in 2017 NFL Draft, but instead, they decided to go with Evan Engram out of the University of Mississippi with the 23rd overall pick.
Njoku went six picks later to the Browns but surely he was thinking about the prospects of playing alongside Odell Beckham, Jr. had the Giants taken the hometown kid.
