The Cleveland Browns have started 28 quarterbacks since their return in 1999. It’s been a long road for Browns fans and starting the 2017 NFL season with an 0-10 record is less than ideal.
Hue Jackson has struggled building successful gameplans for his quarterbacks in his first two seasons in Cleveland. Despite not having the best talent in the quarterback room, 1-25 is unacceptable for any head coach.
Rookie DeShone Kizer has certainly had his fair share of poor play though he has shown some bright spots. A lack of weapons surrounding him makes it difficult to evaluate the 21-year-old quarterback, but he was a project since draft day.
