The Cleveland Browns signed RB Nick Chubb on Monday. He is the seventh player in the team’s nine-man draft class to have signed, leaving only the Browns’ two first-round picks left to ink a deal.
Taken in the 2nd round at No. 35 overall, Chubb’s contract will be worth about $7.383 million, with a $3.45 million signing bonus over four years, according to OverTheCap’s pre-determined draft chart. His cap hit in 2018 will be roughly $1.342 million, which is behind Carlos Hyde and will presumably be behind Duke Johnson once he gets his contract extension.
