In just his rookie season, Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb broke the 1,000 rushing yards in a single season milestone during the first quarter against the Baltimore Ravens.
Chubb is the first Browns player to reach the season milestone since Peyton Hillis accomplished the feat in 2010. Only two other Browns have accomplished the milestone since the team returned in 1999 – Reuben Droughns in 2005 and Jamal Lewis in 2007 and 2008.
The rookie running back accomplished the feat with just 187 carries this season.
