After missing all of the 2017 season suspended by the University of Florida, Antonio Callaway entered the NFL draft and the Cleveland Browns took a chance on him in the fourth round. It wasn’t just a gamble because of his suspension while with the Gators.
Callaway also went to the NFL Scouting Combine and failed a drug test — which placed him in the league’s substance abuse program before he ever saw the field.
Then he had some more bad press as he was cited for marijuana possession and driving on a suspended license during training camp.
