A year later, it's obvious the quarterback made a horrible career move.
Former NFL executive Jeff Diamond wrote an essay for the Sporting News basically saying life would have been much better for Osweiler had he simply stayed in Denver. Osweiler had a 5-2 record as a starter for the Broncos in 2015. He filled in for the injured Peyton Manning. He was set up to take over in 2016 when Manning retired.
