CLEVELAND, Ohio: Scribbles in my notebook as the Brown lead Green Bay, 14-7, at the half:
1. Josh Gordon made catches of 38 yards and than an 18-yard for the TD in the Browns first drive. Gordon's early success shows two things: a) He is outrageously gifted physically. b) Life is so much easier for DeShone Kizer with a big time receiver.
2. Why don't the Packers just double-cover Gordon every time he goes out for a pass? Gordon was wide open on the 38-yard catch. He is the only player in an orange helmet who should scare opposing defensive coordinators.
