It seemed like recently the Cleveland Browns and wide receiver Dez Bryant were meant to be together. First, there was interest from the team. Then there was reported interest from Bryant. Then, there were discussions about a visit. Then, there was — silence.
Suddenly after all the steamy gossip, the rumors died out and Bryant went back to being the biggest name in the free agency market.
Those of us who know the Browns best believe that happened thanks to the depth of the team’s wide receivers.
That depth, however, took a small blow Sunday night as former first-round pick Corey Coleman was traded to the Buffalo Bills for a future draft pick.
