There were several moves this offseason by Cleveland Browns general manager John Dorsey that fans found exciting. The ones that jump to mind have to be the change out of the entire quarterback room, most of the running back room and the secondary adding three new starters.
While the player additions will be huge, there’s another move that could produce an even bigger payoff. The Browns brought in Todd Haley this offseason to take over play calling and the new offensive coordinator has done a great job of this in the past.
Just having a steady and trusted hand taking care of the offense while head coach Hue Jackson can focus on the bigger picture will be a help.
