The Browns will be without at least three players for mandatory veteran minicamp and one has already been ruled out for the season.
Veteran punter Britton Colquitt (knee), rookie defensive end Chad Thomas (sports hernia) and second-year cornerback Howard Wilson (left patella tear) will miss the final phase of offseason workouts, the team announced Tuesday. Wilson, who underwent surgery Tuesday, will miss the 2018 season.
Colquitt and Thomas both underwent recent surgeries but are expected to return during training camp.
Wilson, a fourth-round pick out of Houston, missed his rookie season because of a fractured patella suffered in rookie minicamp.
