The idea of making the Browns’ 53-man roster on potential alone doesn’t sit well with wide receiver-in-training Terrelle Pryor as he fights a nagging hamstring injury.
After all, the former Ohio State University standout is not accustomed to being handed anything in life, not even parental guidance. So he’d rather be on the field earning a roster spot than sitting out and hoping he’s granted one.
“Growing up, I’ve been by myself, moving out of different places by myself since I was 12 years old,” Pryor said Tuesday after practice. “I really didn’t have a figure, people to show me the way.
