Browns vs. Jets: Story lines

1. The Browns open the 2015 season against the New York Jets in East Rutherford, N.J., under second-year coach Mike Pettine following a 7-9 record last year. A five-game losing streak to end 2014 overshadowed a 7-4 start. General Manager Ray Farmer is suspended for the first four games of this season and offensive line coach Andy Moeller is suspended indefinitely. Winning cures all, but the Browns have lost 10 season openers in a row. The last time the Browns won a season opener was in 2004 over the visiting Baltimore Ravens 20-3. Pettine was an assistant on the Ravens that day during his tenure with the team from 2002-2008.
