The Cleveland Browns will close out the holiday weekend on Sunday as they make attempt No. 11 to pick up their first win of the 2017 regular season.
Today’s opponent will be the Cincinnati Bengals, who have proven to be a pesky foe in recent years. The Browns have lost six consecutive games to the Bengals and have not won in Cincinnati since Nov. 6, 2014, a Thursday night game that already seems like a lifetime ago.
While not as lopsided as the “rivalries” with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens, the Browns have capitulated to the Bengals more often than not as they have one just five times on the road against the Bengals since returning to the league in 1999.
