Browns Trade Quarterback Cody Kessler To Jacksonville For Conditional 2019 Draft Pick

The Cleveland Browns have traded quarterback Cody Kessler to the Jacksonville Jaguars for a conditional late-round 2019 draft pick, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Wednesday. Kessler last started for the Browns in 2016, his rookie season with Cleveland.

A third-round pick out of USC, Kessler started eight games in the 2016 campaign for the Browns and failed to win a single game. That season, he threw for six touchdowns and two interceptions, completing 65.
