The fall from grace for Shon Coleman was a fast one. A third-round pick in 2016, Coleman was the team’s starting right tackle in 2017 for all 16 games. Although he didn’t play exceptionally well, for it being his first year as a starter, he held his own.
This offseason, the team signed Chris Hubbard from the Steelers to be their new starting right tackle. With Joe Thomas retiring, the team decided to have an open competition there, with Coleman getting the first crack at it.
